What Are Endless Chaos Dungeons?

You will receive 100 points of Aura of Resonance every day. Each run in a Chaos Dungeon costs you 50 Aura of Resonance. As long as you have enough Aura of Resonance, you’ll get the normal drops like gear and accessories.

If your Aura of Resonance is depleted and you enter a Chaos Dungeon, the loot table changes. This is called an Endless Chaos Dungeon.

You can run Chaos Dungeons as many times as you want. Without Aura of Resonance two special currencies will drop. One of the new drops is Shard of Purification. This is a currency that you can use to buy items from a special vendor.

How do you earn gold in Chaos Dungeons?

The Tier 3 items you buy with Shard of Purification are tradable. So you can farm Chaos Dungeons, buy mats and sell these mats in the auction house. In the early days of Lost Ark this was insanely profitable.

But every time you buy something with Shard of Purification the next purchase will be more expensive. This is a mechanic to prevent excessive farming. The tool above helps you to calculate the most profitable items at every stage.
