The Lahainaluna High School girls basketball team is the No. 4 seed for next week’s Heide & Cook/HHSAA Division I state tournament, the bracket for which was release late Wednesday night.
The Lunas (13-1), fresh off winning their 19th straight Maui Interscholastic League title, will face either Waiakea or Moanalua on Wednesday night in a quarterfinal at the McKinley gym.
MIL runner-up Kamehameha Maui (10-4) is set to host Radford on Monday in a first-round game, with tip-off scheduled for 4 p.m. The winner will take on No. 2 seed Konawaena on Wednesday at Moanalua.
The Division II state tournament bracket will be released upon completion of all league tournaments. Lanai (12-0) and Molokai (9-3) are the representatives from the MIL.
